Why do some businesses succeed and others fail, is it vision, the fear of failure, determination? Yes probably all of these but in many cases it’s the overriding need that you are doing it for someone else....yes your family. It could be your son or your daughter, but it is a need to press on and be successful as you don’t want to fail them. You are all they have and your commitment to success needs to be bigger than just you.
In doing so many of you may need to learn new skills or expand on talents that are underutilized. It has been said that over your working life you will have five different careers, and we are seeing this today as many factory skills that were of great value a few years ago are no longer needed. Another key to being successful is having people that can also change, adapt and grow while committed to the company’s goals. Success needs to be shared and become bigger than just one person. Sharing with your employees and your family is rewarding for all and leads to strengthening of your business and goals.
